FAQs

ACE Cleaning & Restoration

  • Do you move furniture when cleaning the carpets?

Yes, we can move most small furniture items like coffee tables and end tables. However, we do not handle larger pieces such as beds, dressers, China cabinets, or pianos.
  • How often should I clean my carpets?

We suggest cleaning your carpet every 6 to 12 months. If you have pets or someone with allergies in your home, more frequent cleanings can help eliminate allergens.
  • Can professional carpet cleaning remove all stains?

Although professional cleaners can greatly enhance or eliminate most stains, certain stains, especially older ones, may not be fully removed. It's wise to talk about specific problem areas with the cleaning technicians to set appropriate expectations.
  • Are your products safe for kids and pets?

We prioritize the safety of your entire household. All cleaning products used in our services are carefully selected to be safe for children and pets, guaranteeing a clean and healthy environment for everyone.
  • How long do carpets or furniture take to dry after being professionally cleaned?

Generally, carpets take about 8 to 12 hours to dry. Cross-ventilation is more effective in speeding up the drying process than using interior heating. Additionally, using fans can assist in drying.
  • Can I have my carpets and air ducts cleaned on the same day?

Absolutely! We clean the air ducts first to prevent our technicians from walking on the freshly cleaned carpet and to ensure any dust or debris that escapes from the vents can be cleaned up afterward.
  • Can you clean my leather furniture or just fabric?

Certainly! We use leather-safe cleaning solutions to ensure your leather furniture is cleaned safely.
  • How long does the carpet or rug cleaning process take?

When cleaning carpets in your home, we usually estimate about 30 minutes per area, with extra time needed for stairs. For rug cleaning, the process may take 4 to 7 days, as we want to ensure your rugs are cleaned and dried thoroughly.
  • Do you clean area rugs in the home?

While we don't recommend cleaning area rugs in the home, we can do so if they are on tile or concrete floors. Cleaning rugs on wood floors can damage the wood. For a more thorough cleaning, we suggest having them cleaned at our rug cleaning facility.
  • How are dryer vents cleaned?

In most cases, we clean dryer vents from the outside of the home. First, we remove the exterior vent cover (louvre) to access the vent. Next, we use a specialized cable with a brush attachment that goes into the vent. With the dryer running, the airflow helps push out loosened lint while our drill-powered brush removes larger debris. This combination ensures a thorough and effective cleaning of the entire vent system.
  • How often should I have my air ducts cleaned?

We suggest having your air ducts cleaned every 3 to 5 years. However, certain factors like pet ownership, allergies, or recent renovations may necessitate more frequent duct cleaning.
